Pediatric Procedures
Since the prospect of a procedure can be frightening to a very young child as well as to the child's parents, our staff makes every effort to alleviate these fears. You and your child are welcome to get acquainted with our staff and tour the facilities prior to the scheduled procedure. Please call for an appointment: (954)341-5553 ext 236.
We also recognize that a parent's presence can provide a great source of comfort for the pediatric patient. For this reason, we ask that you stay with your child in the perioperative area before the procedure and then not leave the Center, so you will be available when your child is brought to the recovery area following the procedure. When your child is a patient at the Center, feel free to bring their favorite stuffed animal, security blanket and or favorite bottle or cup for added reassurance.
